Why is my code not working?

Check time and settings before trying another code.

Enable automatic date and time on your device. A clock that is ahead or behind can produce the wrong time window. Wait for a fresh code if the countdown is nearly finished. The account service decides which time windows it accepts.

Copy the original setup key, not a six-digit code or a recovery code. Check the algorithm, digit count and interval against the account settings. HOTP counter links, QR image uploads and SMS codes are not supported. If access is lost, use the service’s recovery process.
